I interviewed Miloney Thakrar, Founder and Principal at Mind the Gender Gap. Miloney Thakrar is the Founder & Principal of Mind the Gender Gap, Inc., a boutique consultancy that helps companies–from nonprofits to startups to Fortune 500s–leverage technology and data storytelling to accelerate gender equity, diversity, and inclusion. Her proprietary approach uniquely combines data feminism, data storytelling, and technology to craft scalable, innovative solutions that drive impact. The Forum on Workplace Inclusion and the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) have featured her work. A Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar, she holds dual graduate degrees in Gender & Social Policy and Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Australian National University. She is the recipient of the June 2021 Inclusion 1st Ally Award and the 2021 UN Women USA Chicago Gender Equality Award. She serves on Garbo's Advocacy Council, Angel Valuation's Board of Directors, and ¡Milwaukee Evaluation!'s Board. When she is not eradicating donut charts from DEI reports or convincing her dad to buy a cell phone, you can find her reading in hammocks or hiking the Great Plains of Illinois.
