Episode 533 - Corinna Dunn - Note To Self - Lessons on Trauma and Thriving in its Aftermath

Corinna is a complete boss. She is always up for a new challenge and that is why she has worn so many hats.  She is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, childhood mental abuse, sexual assault and domestic violence.  
It was these experiences that drove her to serve as a volunteer CASA worker for 6 years and to write her memoir  Note to Self: Lessons on Trauma and Thriving in its Aftermath . She has also authored a companion Note to Self self reflection prompt cards and a wellness journal to help track healthy habits.  
She is the host of The Melanin Wellness Podcast and the owner of Flexible Soul Travel which specializes in high quality travel reviews.  She has also held the pageant title of Mrs. Southwest Virginia 2016 & 2017 and was named ACHI Magazine’s 2024 Entrepreneur of the Year. She is a published runway and print model, who has graced the covers of several elite magazines.  

When she’s not podcasting, ripping runways, traveling the world you’ll find her with her family.
