Kelly and David are disgusted by what they experience in San Francisco.  It's one thing to be tolerant during a difficult time, it's another to accept incredibly poor leadership.  The irony is so thick given the fact that they were there to take in a play called Hadestown.  The duo immediately noted that San Francisco is the new Hadestown.  On a day dedicated to bonding, it was incredibly challenging to bond with a city that they both lived and worked in but has undeniably been given up on.  While they aren't big on protests, they encourage their listeners to avoid San Francisco until there is either new leadership or a major shift.
