In a clever play on words, David shares how he is managing through his recent illness in a foreign land.  Michelle points out that his techniques are unique and quite effective.  As expected, David applies the doula heart empathy outward to minimize his struggle and contemplates how others navigate under even more dire conditions.  On the flip side, they both ponder the phenomenon of how some entitled people's fear morphs into anger leading to the false belief that raging against the machine will somehow grant you want you desire.
