When the COVID restrictions were being inforced in March of 2019, The Women's Service League of NCW had to make a last minute decision to pull the plug on My Girlfriend's Closet - their biggest fundraiser of the year. This would put a halt to any grant money being distributed to their beneficiary local non-profits.
Two years later, Nikki catches up with them to reflect on what it has been like for the organization since we last saw them at that time, and how they manage to keep exponentially growing.
My Girlfriend's Closet runs Friday, Saturday, Sunday Nov. 19-21st at the Town Toyota Center.
What's Up Wenatchee? is produced in collaboration between the Darling Productions Podcast Network and Hightower Digital Media.
