The bigger question is, what did you expect?  This is less of a story of dog bites man than man bites dog.  Feeling like just a continuation of the day prior, David is dumbfounded with the scams and greed that happen during the holidays.  Met with less than wonderful and lasting final impression of Italy, he is frustrated by how current laws open the door to allowing companies to treat their customers like shit.  A strong warning to avoid Ryanair.
