I speak with Mikaela Cochrane who is the lead singer of Calgary’s psychedelic dark-wave popera band Future Womb. I had a great time chatting with Mikaela about a wide variety of subject matter including: her musical theater background and how that effects the bands sound, the importance of having a creative release, connecting with people through music, the unexpected hurdles and the unforeseen joys that come with being in a band, the pleasures of the production process, the importance of letting go, getting down with your weird self, and much much more. We also talk all about the Big Winter Classic which Mikaela and the rest of Future Womb will be performing at on Thursday January 24th.
