For a pandemic that has lasted almost two years, Dr. Sun discusses how everyone must play their part in preventing the spread, and that unvaccinated people increase the chance of more variants developing (15:20). He shares his journey of getting vaccinated with others through the Monsoon Diaries and social media, hoping to inspire and reassure his community (23:15). The advice he offers those who are concerned about the side-effects of the vaccine is risk assessment; it comes down to the effects of COVID-19 vs. the effects of the vaccine (30:00).
