A simple definition of Eminent Domain is when the Government uses its power to acquire or seize private property.  This may be like land or a house with the intent to use that property for something that helps the public.  Compensation (that means money) is offered but what could be long some of the lasting impacts to the seller?  Current market value does not necessarily equate to long term appreciate or loss of value on remaing value to private property.  That is what the Real Siblings discuss on their latest episode.
