There is a practice that's much more readily available to us in every moment besides what we traditionally think of as meditation. Mindfulness, awareness, staying as the observer, it doesn't really matter what you call it but is the it is the act of being aware of the mind and its thoughts the body and its emotions and feelings but staying as the awareness and not feeding into What is playing out. It's like someone who goes into an ice water plunge. It creates a discipline for the mind and body to not immediately jump back out of the water. But the practice of mindful awareness can occur anywhere at any time. To just be to exist not waiting for the next moment. Yes meditation can be useful as its own tool but it can also be a trap into believing that you can only find peace when you're sitting on a cushion. #meditation #spiritualawakening #mind
