Hey y’all, welcome to Sick of this Shitpod and I’m Nick, your host. Today is episode 7 - fireworks fly. I’m an Army veteran. I’m damn proud of my service to this country and the Oath I swore when enlisting. It’s appalling what we have become and we have strayed so far. I wrote this poem on Independence Day, in honor of that patriotism and what has been lost; however, what was lost can be found. Lost is not gone, just misplaced. fireworks fly is a call to regain it and retake our symbols.
