She has over 15+ years of professional experience spans across international, national, state, and local organizations. In 2004, she started working as a Community Organizer for the Empire State Pride Agenda, a New York State lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) non-profit advocacy organization. In 2006, she began her HR career working for the leading national education non-profit, Teach for America.
She writes daily and enjoys photography, running, hiking, playing the piano, and listening to music from the 80s and 90s. During her time at home in 2020, she discovered new hobbies, including sidewalk chalking, hammocking, and gardening.
