 Chris highlights the importance of being an active listener and being able to listen to understand, not to respond. A lot of the time people will listen and be waiting to respond back with an argument rather than actually listening to what they have to say.  

 He delves into the importance of leadership and the qualities a leader should have. Leadership is about going into the role to make things better for others not for yourself.
