Our Director James Dean, was joined by Ste Ashton. Ste is currently leading Broadband, 5G and wider Connectivity for WCC, whilst working as the Business Lead at nexGworx.

Ste talks to us about the work he is currently doing surrounding 5G,  some of the discussions involving his work around 5G private networks, and why they have been introduced. 

The pair discuss the current skills gap within networking and the importance of having a diverse team. Ste suggests ways that could help encourage people in the computer science faculty to consider a career in networking, as opposed to going down other common routes such as finance.
