This week is such a fun and insightful episode as I sit and get to know Rasheedah and all that she does and wants to do right here in Columbus, OH. A few months ago I saw news that a "market" was coming to Franklinton, which is the area this podcast's studio currently resides in. While that doesn't sound like a big deal, what it meant was I could go grab drinks and snacks right across the street anytime and didn't have to drive a few miles for it anymore! So, you'll hear me chat with Rasheedah about how wonderful that is, but of course we dive into how the Market came to be out of necessity not just for people in the area, but it all started from Rasheedah herself wishing it existed! We talk about her background in marketing, the whole process of how her and her business partner created the Market, her goals with it, the growth of the city of Columbus, what's preventing certain growth, what prevents us as indivuduals from growing in general and how to get past that, starting her skincare brand 'Luxe' & lots more!
