Cody, who had his first experience with Duhawk football at the age of 12 as the team's water boy, came to Loras out of the University of Northern Iowa and became a three-year starter for the football club and varsity teams. He earned NAIA All-America status and was twice named to the NAIA District 15 Team as a linebacker.
