This week Lily is joined by Michael Coghill ~ the co-founder of Total Green Recycling. This episode explores the need and necessity for a circular economy in order to better the state of our Earth. Michael shares his journey in becoming aware of the gigantic problem of e-waste and how he and his brother, James, started Western Australia's, now largest, e-waste recycling company. Through looking at e-waste, Lily and Michael get into the main theme of this episode ~ a circular economy. Michael shares his view and ideas of needing to localise our processes and collaborate rather than compete in order to move away from the capitalism system which has been damaging to both society and the environment.
