In this episode, I talk with paramedic, Katie Godfrey, NREMT-P about her journey to becoming a paramedic. In the process our conversation hits on multiple subjects including the perception of women in tough jobs, choosing a profession that fits her life and family goals, setting down roots, and of course, a passion for community and her profession. Note to the squeamish, we do touch very briefly on subjects that can be uncomfortable, but this episode is inspiring and provides a lot of food for thought!
