Philip Doyle is a rower and a doctor from Ireland who competed at Tokyo 2020 in the Men’s Double Scull’s.
After making his debut in 2018 he has risen the ranks to become one of the top contenders in the men’s double of the last Olympiad finishing in Silver position in the 2019 World Championships, qualifying for his first Olympic Games.
We chat to Philip on his experience racing in one of the toughest events out there as well as life as a doctor-athlete during the Covid pandemic and how that impacted his outlook as an athlete.
