We sit down with Morgan State's Sr. Associate Athletic Director Lydell Sargeant in this episode. He details his recruiting journey and the critical factors he leaned on to succeed in the football ecosystem and use the sport as a catalyst to a career he can bank on. 

Sargeant details recruiting insights and personal accounts from being a star multi-sport athlete in Pittsburgh and Lompoc, California. Key tactical steps he made to transition from the field to the Ivory Tower. After using the pillars that made him a successful athlete, he leaned on those same transferable skills to transition from football as a catalyst. 

He also touches on some key developments that he spearheaded at Morgan State, such as the first Wrestling Program at an HBCU and working with Troy Vincent and the NFL to create a data analytics program to level the playing fields for equal access for students.
