Jesus turned many of his listeners’ beliefs on their heads by challenging their preconceived notions. One point that he made sure to drive home is that in the Kingdom of God, the last will be first and the first will be last; that many of those we think of as greatest, will actually be the least in the Kingdom and many who seem like the least now, will be the greatest then.
