The Eagle Mountain City Council held a work session and policy session to address administrative and legislative matters. During the work session, the council discussed the Code for Transmission Lines and Utah Code Requirements, reviewed an RV Parking Code Amendment, and considered project recommendations from the Community Services Board.

In the policy session, the council recognized a Utah County Sheriff's Office Deputy and proclaimed Eagle Mountain City as a JustServe City. The consent agenda included approval of change orders #6 and #7 for the 2025 Midvalley Road Extension, review of the September 1, 2026 meeting minutes, and approval of site plans for Spring Run Plaza Lots 1 and 2. The council approved a resolution with Utah Public Solutions LLC to provide lobbying services and a reimbursement agreement with Spring Run Parkway Partners II, LP.

A public hearing was held on the First Amendment to the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Annual Budget. The council also received training on the Open & Public Meetings Act, reviewed the legislative priorities list, and heard business and liaison reports from council members.

The Eagle Mountain Planning Commission met to consider water and sewer infrastructure planning and a zoning discussion item. The Eagle Mountain Planning Commission meets to review land use and development matters. The primary agenda item is a public hearing and action on an ordinance to rezone certain lands known as Pinnacles and approve a master development plan and master development agreement amendment. The proposal requests rezoning of one 2.48-acre parcel from Commercial Neighborhood to Agriculture and amends the future land use designation from Neighborhood Residential 1 to Agriculture. This parcel was inadvertently omitted from a simultaneous rezone that affected adjacent properties.
