It all began when dad got his hands on a great deal for a bunch of chickens, and soon after, received an unexpected phone call from his friend Lewis Bradley, who invited him to join him on a lynx trapping trip using the chickens as bait.

Their escapade took us to Eagle River, just north of Anchorage, and was filled with unexpected twists and turns. One of the most memorable moments was when they encountered an American eagle caught in one of the steel traps, and had to come up with a plan to safely release the majestic creature.
