Eagle’s Eye View: A Special Preview of ESC Congress 2023

In this special edition of the View, Dr. Eagle discusses some of the major trials and guidelines that are at the center of this year’s ESC Congress 2023, taking place in Amsterdam from Friday, August 25 to Monday, August 28.  ACC.org will be covering all the high points of this year’s Congress, including late-breaking trials with a special focus on interventional cardiology, as well as major papers on atrial fibrillation, heart failure, shock, and much more.   Among the trials that will be under discussion are COP-AF, HEART–FID, ECLS Shock, STOP-DAPT3, ILUMIEN 4, OCTAVUS, ARREST, FRAIL-AF, and OPT-BIRISK. ACC.org will also explore a number of important new ESC Guidelines and updates on topics ranging from endocarditis, CVD and diabete, and cardiomyopathy to acute coronary syndrome, as well updates on the 2023 Heart Failure Guidelines.    For more information, check out ACC.org’s trial summaries, key points documents on the guidelines, press releases and visual abstracts, as well as regular updates on social media.
