The 8 – 7 Eagles have now won four out of their last five games and, with a win in the season finale at 7 – 8 Washington on Sunday, will put themselves in position for a possible playoff berth. They will, however, need some help. The Vikings are currently 8 – 6 – 1 and a win over the NFC North Champion Bears (11 – 4) will send Minnesota to the playoffs as the No. 6 seed in the NFC. The Bears, however, are still fighting for the No. 2 seed and the potential for multiple home playoff games so they are not likely to allow the Vikings to advance without a fight.
