Earl Granville is a decorated combat veteran and veteran advocate from Northeast Pennsylvania.  His journey from entering the military to the advocacy he does now is incredible.  From earning promotions and developing the soldiers entrusted to him, to losing his leg in combat and the death of his brother, Joe, Earl has seemingly been through the highest of highs and the lowest of lows.

This is the first of three episodes.  In this part, we learn about what motivated Earl to join the military, how his outlook on life was changed in Iraq, and the patrol in Afghanistan that would shape his future.
