Early Career Psychologist Spotlight- Daniel Kaplin, PhD
This episode features an early career psychologist spotlight on Daniel Kaplin, PhD. Dr. Kaplin received his doctorate in clinical psychology from Walden University in 2014. His dissertation explored the relationship between substance use and religiosity in the Jewish community. In addition to practicing psychotherapy part-time, he currently holds teaching positions at both the College of New Jersey and the College of Staten Island. Dr. Kaplin is also an active member in the New York State Psychological Association (NYSPA), where he is an advocate for diversity issues and is a part of the initiative to grant prescriptive authority to clinical psychologists in the state of New York.
