In this episode, I discuss Piagets Theory of Cognitive Development, more specifically the Sensorimotor and Pre-operational stages. In addition, I explain why PLAY is fundamental in a child's development as it helps with their cognitive development, social/emotional development, speech/language development, fine motor skills, and gross motor skills. I explain why children should live a normal life in the face of Covid-19 and encourage parents who are afraid to find ways for their children to interact with peers so they do not struggle developmentally in the future.
