Shavuot celebrates the 'Earthy', agricultural blessings between the barley and wheat harvests.  It was on the day of this festival that Moses climbs Mount Sinai and encountered God's presence in the Thunder of the wind and Fire.   Spring forward 1200 years and we have a group of men and women meeting in a room, on the day of the Shavuot feast, and they hear a thunderous wind and fire comes upon them....  Today we explore why Holy Spirit used these familiar symbols to reveal himself to them and begin a whole new season for humankind.
