Kamaria's lost all of her people, the Tsawon rai to the Hunters of evil. As the last remaining guardian of the realm of elements, she's been bidding her time, waiting for the mixed-blood human whom the prophecy spoke of - the one who could turn the fate of the realms around and defeat the Hunters of Evil. When she finds him, she immediately finds herself attracted to him but he rejects both her feelings and the prophecy - wanting nothing to do with the supernatural.
All Fela wants is to become the next director of the Art Gallery where he worked. He'd neither wanted nor expected to be drawn into the war between the guardians of the realms and the hunters of evil. As if that isn't bizarre enough, he also has to fight off the undeniably sexy guardian who's seeking every opportunity to get him to her bed.
