With the summer here I wanted to take the opportunity to talk about travelling and the importance of being allergy safe and allergy smart. First I'll be talking about how NOT to travel and then I'll have a special message for the teenage boys with allergies.

What You'll Learn:

I have been lucky enough to do quite a lot of travelling over the last 10 years, both with family and as an adult. I’ve done the nice travelling on planes with luggage and staying hotels and I’ve also done the whole backpacking thing staying in hostels, eating cheap food and basically slumming it.

But when it comes to allergies you have to take some precautions and make some preparations.

I’m not going to bore you with a list of must do’s, instead I’m going to do something different. Let's talk about what NOT to do.

I'll also be talking about what happens when you ignore your allergy and another way to think about it.
