There’s never been a comeback without there first being a setback. Good Friday was history’s greatest setback, but Good Friday was simply the prelude to Easter. Just when it looked like it was over (as it often does in our lives) – Easter happened. Easter is living proof that God will always have the final word. It’s the proof that God can take our greatest setback and turn it into a comeback. Because of the resurrection, we can experience a comeback from our greatest failure; we can experience a comeback from the challenges that seem to defeat us; and we will someday experience a comeback from the setback of death itself.
