In case it's not clear, Jesus is meaning to speak words of hope and reassurance, and affirm that we are safe and loved with him and the Holy Spirit. AND, if you are in or ever in a relationship where someone who is supposed to be loving and caring and safe, but isn't, PLEASE tell someone. Ask for help. It is NOT okay to be abused and/or threatened.
