Easter is a moveable Christian Holiday. It is celebrated on the 1st Sunday following the 1st full moon following the Vernal Equinox. The Vernal (Spring) Equinox marks the first day of Spring which usually comes March 20th or 21st. When Easter is celebrated is based upon Astronomy. This was one of the results of the Council of Nicea in 325 AD (Ecumenical Council).
