As we approach Easter, it can be tempting to skip ahead to the glorious events of Easter Sunday.  But if we miss the Cross, we miss the clearest demonstration of the love of God for us. The Cross was about more than Jesus’ physical suffering, it was the spiritual pain He endured as He faced the punishment for our sin. But as He endured separation from His Father, He gave us unprecedented access to the Father.
