And by faith in his name, his name itself has made this man strong, whom you see and know; and the faith that is through Jesus has given him this perfect health in the presence of all of you.

Acts 3:16

This Sunday our gospel text features another resurrection appearance of Jesus.

We also will hear the story of Peter healing a man by invoking the name of Jesus.

The resurrection of Jesus conveys the power to bring healing and wholeness to the disciples and to the church.
