We have all lost something. We have all misplaced something in our life. There is nothing more frustrating than when you can’t find what you’re looking for. As we celebrate Easter, we look to the women who went to the tomb and became perplexed when they didn't find Jesus there. The angels told the women that they were perplexed because they were looking in the wrong place and they had forgotten God's Word. In the same way, we are looking in the wrong places for joy, peace, and contentment, and so much more in the world when we forget that Jesus is the only one that can fulfill this. You may find yourself discouraged, frustrated, or in a place of wondering if it’s worth it. Quit looking in the wrong places and be reminded of the truth of God’s Word. God can use your brokenness to open the eyes of others to Him. God is not hiding, and even in your discouragement, He is with you. Listen to this Easter sermon as we celebrate our Risen Savior.
