Easter Story - Doubting Thomas

Listen Later

The story of Jesus showing his hands and feet to Doubting Thomas is found in the Gospel of John 20:24–29. After Jesus' resurrection, he appeared to his disciples, but Thomas (also called Didymus) wasn’t there at the time. Because he wasn't there he doubted the resurrection of Jesus. About a week later, Jesus appeared again while the disciples were together—and this time, Thomas was there. Jesus invited Thomas to touch his hands and side, saying:

“Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”
