In the Old Testament, there are 613 commandments listed in-between Genesis and the book of Deuteronomy. No one was able to keep all of those commandments because no one was perfect. Jesus was perfection in the flesh. Jesus came into the natural and walked such a perfect and flawless life that He fulfilled every single law in the flesh. When He died, He fulfilled every requirement of the 613 commandments in the law. When Jesus said, “It is finished,” He abolished sin and got rid of its effect in this world in order for us to receive the benefit of that provision. There’s more to our salvation than simply being saved from hell. In fact, there are seven parts of salvation: healed, delivered, preserved, protected, prosperous, whole and saved. Jesus dying on the cross and fulfilling the law gave us access to attain seven parts of salvation.
