It also brings a new identity—one that is received, not earned—freeing us from striving for worth and rooting us as sons and daughters of God.

The resurrection invites us into a real, living relationship with Jesus, not just the memory of a teacher, but the presence of a Savior who walks with us today. And finally, it launches us into a new mission. Every part of life now matters, as we are called to participate in God’s ongoing work in the world.

Because Jesus lives, sin, shame, fear, and even death do not win—Jesus does.
