Originally from Chile, Mon's musical talents were her saving grace during her difficult childhood. After struggling to make it as an artist in her own country, she moved to Mexico to reinvent herself and her career.

Soon, Mon's tenacity and poetic ability to turn her physical and emotional pain into songs started to earn her the admiration of the Mexican public. The musical industry at large also gave her recognition, making her one the most prolific and influential Latina artists of today's music scene in Mexico, Chile and all over Latin America.
