In this continuation of Jesus' Bread of Life discourse, we see that Jesus making a bold statement- feeding on Him results in eternal life. However, our Lord's words must be understood precisely - eating His flesh and drinking His blood refer to looking and believing in His incarnation and death. We also see that feeding on Jesus is a matter of relationship with God, not a matter of religion.
