This week, we're joined by Maya Kumar, MD, to talk about risk factors, prevention strategies, and treatment for children and adolescents with eating disorders. Dr. Kumar is an Adolescent Medicine Physician at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of California San Diego. She is the Chair of the Adolescent Health Committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics California Chapter 3, and serves as the Chair of the Nutrition Committee for the Society of Adolescent Health and Medicine.
