Welcome!

My mission is to help men—and the people who love them—navigate the first months of a prostate diagnosis and beyond, with clarity, compassion, and actionable steps all rooted in lifestyle medicine.

This episode is brought to you by Healed and Thriving. Check out Your Plant-Powered Prostate Playbook and Your Anti-Inflammatory Lifestyle Journal, a 6 week journal for people serious about reducing inflammation and living their best lives.

Check out these photos of plant-powered bowls. I like to make individual bowls, but sometimes I make a larger bowl and then store it in the fridge for the next day. This fun article explains the magic behind a bowl meal.

This is a quick and easy cashew cheese recipe. Instead of rolling the mixture into a ball, you can press it into a container that you store in the fridge for the week.

When you are entertaining, you can have all of the ingredients separated into bowls and then your guests can mix and match. Clockwise: roasted cauliflower, butternut squash, pinto beans, guacamole, pesto, pico, baby bella mushrooms, and garlicky spinach

I hope this episode and these photos inspired you to try to make a plant-powered bowl this week! Check out my photos of food bowls on Substack!

And as you listen, please remember: compassion for yourself is part of the medicine. This path isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress. Small, steady changes truly add up over time.

Do what you can, because just getting started is enough ❤️
