We continue the story of Elisha and the Shunnamite woman in 2 Kings 4. The child that the woman was miraculously blessed with has died! (This sounds strikingly similar to the story of Elijah in 1 Kings 17.) Elisha will be used to raise the child miraculously in a very similar fashion to that of his predecessor. But what does this mean for the typological connections to the New Testament?
