The story of the miraculous healing of Naaman the leper through Elisha is one that is fairly well known among Jesus followers. But perhaps we don't understand the typological relevance it offers. Is this the story of God's incorporation of Gentiles into His divine plan? Is it a story that includes baptism and new creation? And what about this entering into the house of a foreign god and YHWH being ok with it?
