EBAN ESCOTT: Is the AAA (authentication, authorisation and accounting) security framework outdated?

Listen Later

AAA security has a part to play in almost all the ways we access networks today and has historically set the benchmark. But is it enough? CEO and co-founder of software company Codebots, Eban Escott, speaks to host Blair Crawford about how to move to a more robust OWASP SAMM framework and gives his expert advice on critical first steps to creating a better security posture. They explore the marriage between AI and model-driven engineering, specifically how Codebots uses AI to do the heavy lifting, then humans to finesse and problem solve. They also discuss the frustrations and waste of legacy systems, particularly in government organisations. To finish off, our producer Dan makes a debut appearance with his very own listener question.  CREDITS Host: Blair Crawford, Co-founder and Managing Director, Daltrey Guest Host: Eban Escott, Co-founder and CEO, Codebots Producer: Dan McHugh ARTICLE LINKS AAA Security: An Introduction to Authentication, Authorisation and Accounting OWASP SAMM Framework Simplifies Analyzing and Improving Organizational Security Posture OWASP Web Security Testing Guide https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-07-08/microsoft-windows-vulnerability-bluekeep-and-cyber-security-risk/11277270 WANT MORE IDENTITY NEWS?
