Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. As discussed in our previous episodes, our prayers will be rooted in the 66 books of the Bible. Today's prayer aligns with Romans 10:17: “So, then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” 

The Lord is reminding us that our faith will increase when we hear the word of God. Our faith grows through listening, and our listening improves through the teachings and messages of the word of God.

As we pray, let us open our hearts and be receptive to what the Lord is saying to us.

So, then it is not of him that wills, nor of him that run, but of God that shows mercy.” 

As we pray, let us believe that it is not the will of those who strive or the actions of those who run that count, but rather it is God’s grace that determines who receives his mercy. 

Let us approach prayer with hope and confidence, for God is merciful and compassionate. The Lord is reminding us that his sovereignty, grace, and mercy are not determined by human desire or effort; rather, it is God's choice to bestow them upon us.

Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Our prayer today will be aligned with the scripture taken from Romans 8:38-39, and it reads: “I am persuaded that neither death nor life, angels, principalities nor powers, nor things present, things to come, height, depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” 

The Lord is reminding us that nothing can ever stand between us and his boundless love. This is richly expressed in the grace of Christ Jesus, a love that surpasses all barriers and rises above all circumstances. It reaches the highest peaks of life with joy and reaches down to the deepest valleys of depression.

As we pray, let us hold on to the comforting assurance that no one or anything can separate us from the connection we share with the Lord. No earthly force and no human concern can separate us from the divine love that he is graciously pouring into our lives. His love is our refuge, surrounding us through trials and providing strength and nourishment in every season of life.

As we pray, let us take a moment to understand the significance of God's truth. The Lord poses a reflective question: If God is truly on our side, who can possibly stand against us? 

The Lord is inviting us to explore the incredible strength and support we can receive from His presence. He wants us to know that no force of opposition can draw us away from His presence when we are protected by His boundless power. In moments of uncertainty and challenge, the Lord wants us to remember we are never alone and that He is shielding us from all opposition.

Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. As we step into the month of September, let’s embrace the arrival of autumn, a season that brings with it a sense of renewal and reflection. This time of year, the Lord wants us to strengthen our prayers and deepen our connection with him. 

Today, we are continuing in the book of Romans. Our prayer today will be aligned with the scripture taken from Romans 8:28, which reads: “We know that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose.” 

As we pray, let us hold onto the truth that if we truly love God, everything in our lives will align perfectly as it is meant to be. Life can be a challenge that tests our strength or a joyous occasion that fills our hearts with gratitude; each experience serves a purpose. They collectively contribute to a greater good for those who sincerely love God and embrace His calling in their lives. Let’s take this moment to pray with assurance.

Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Our prayer today will be aligned with the scripture taken from Romans 8:26-27, and it reads: “Likewise, the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered. Now he who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” 

As we pray, let us remember that you who examines our hearts understands the innermost thoughts of our Spirit. The Spirit of God will help us overcome difficulties. For understand and support our weaknesses.

Lord, you are reassuring us that our spiritual battles are not meant to be fought alone. Often, we find ourselves at a loss, unable to communicate the detailed prayers that we ought to present to you. But you are reminding us that in those moments, your Spirit will intercede for us.

Our prayer today will be aligned with the scripture taken from Romans 8:11, and it reads: “Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelt in you.” 

As we pray, let us remember that the Lord promises not only to renew our bodies with his Spirit but also to give us the transformative power we need to overcome physical limitations and bring forth the newness of life. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the grave can renew our mortal bodies, filling us with life and purpose.

Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Our prayer today will be aligned with the scripture taken from Romans 8:1-2, and it reads: “There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” 

The Lord is reminding us that through Christ Jesus, we are free from condemnation. If we walk not in accordance with our fleshly desires but align our lives with the guidance of His Spirit, we find ourselves freed. For the grace found in Christ Jesus has set us free, freeing us from sin and death.

As we pray, let us ask the Lord for a new way of living, one marked by hope, purpose, and spiritual strength, and not with the burdens of the past.

Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Our prayer today will be aligned with the scripture taken from Romans 6:22-23, and it reads: “But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” 

As we pray, let us acknowledge that the consequences of sin are severe; they lead to death, both spiritual and eternal. But God is offering us a great gift: the opportunity for eternal life, which is made possible through our relationship with Jesus Christ, our Lord. 

The Lord is reminding us that, having been liberated from the grip of sin and transformed into devoted servants of God, we now bear the fruit of righteousness, which leads us to holiness. The fruit of holiness is everlasting life. For the gift is not merely an escape from mortality but a pathway to a fulfilled and purposeful existence in communion with God.

Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Our scripture today will be taken from Romans 5:8, and it reads: “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” 

As we pray, let us remember that, despite our flaws and failures, the Lord is offering us love and redemption.

God demonstrated his love towards us by sending his son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins. This act of sacrifice follows even now, when we are engaged in sins and separated from him. For the Lord is emphasizing the depth of His grace and mercy.
