The vital role that prayer plays in our lives will help us understand the importance of thankfulness, recognize the blessings in our lives, and find the strength that comes from our communication with the Lord when we cultivate a heart filled with gratefulness.

And it reads, “Whatsoever you do, do it heartily to the Lord, and not unto men; for of the Lord, we shall receive the reward of inheritance: for we serve the Lord.” 

The Lord is reminding us that our actions, no matter how small or great, carry significant weight when performed with love and dedication. He wants us to engage in heartfelt prayer to Him, rather than seeking the approval of others. 

As we pray, let us view our daily tasks as opportunities to honor the Lord. For it is from Him that we will receive the true reward we need, which is the gift of inheritance.

Welcome to another episode of EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Our prayer today is aligned with the scripture taken from Colossians 3:12-13. It reads: “Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.” 

This verse is reassuring us of God’s abundant provision in our lives. We are chosen by God. As chosen ones of God, holy and dearly loved, we are called to embody the deepest virtues: compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. It is essential to bear with one another. The Lord is asking us to forgive, because he has forgiven us. He's our mighty Savior. He is faithful, just, and forgiving. He wants us to be cleansed from all sin and all unrighteousness.

As we pray, let us open our hearts and extend that same grace and mercy to others. Trusting that God’s will meets all our needs through His infinite love and grace.

As we pray, let us embrace the richness that comes from nurturing our relationship with the Lord. Instead, let us not get lost in temporary material things that will distract us.  Let us open our hearts to the endless possibilities that God has in store for us and pray with assurance.

Welcome to another episode of EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Today is the beginning of November. As we step into this new month, let us take a moment to reflect on the gratefulness that this season brings. Today is a perfect opportunity to appreciate the countless blessings that God is pouring into our lives and to reconnect with family, friends, and those we cherish – those who bring joy and meaning to our lives.

As discussed in previous episodes, each of the 66 books of the Bible is a testament to the incredible strength and impact that prayer has in our lives. Our prayers throughout the year are taken from all books of the Bible. We began in the book of Genesis and will conclude in the book of Revelation by the end of the year. 

Today, we are going to dive into the book of Colossians. Our prayer is aligned with Colossians 2:6-7, and it reads: “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.”

Let our faith flourish abundantly this month. Make an intentional effort to cultivate a spirit of thanksgiving, recognizing the gifts we have been given and the challenges that have helped shape our character. With gratitude, we will not only enhance our journey but will also enrich the lives of those around us. Expressing our appreciation openly, honoring what we have received, and strengthening our connection with the Lord. We should embrace this season of reflection and let it inspire us to live with purpose and joy.

As we pray, let us open our hearts and reflect on our journey of faith; let us embrace Christ Jesus as our Lord and Savior, not just a one-time commitment, but a continuous path of growth and transformation. Let us allow the Lord's teachings and love to guide our actions and decisions. So, we can deepen our relationship with Him through prayer and share our experiences with others.

Welcome to another episode of EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Today is a strong reminder of how swiftly time passes and how important it is to stay rooted in faith as we approach the end of the month and another moment with the Lord.

Our prayer today will be aligned with the scripture taken from Philippians 4:19, which reads, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” 

As we pray, let us open our hearts to the provision that surrounds us. God Prayer is a powerful tool that can impact our lives. When we approach God in prayer, we should trust that He will provide for all our needs, according to the boundless riches of His glory. This assurance is rooted in our relationship with Christ Jesus, through whom the abundant resources of God's grace and mercy are made available to us. Will provide for our needs, our spiritual needs, our emotional needs, and our physical needs, according to his infinite riches.  He knows us intimately and desires to bless us. In times of uncertainty, we can find comfort in the promise that God will supply what we require, allowing us to experience His faithfulness and generosity in our daily lives. Today, let us seek guidance to recognize and accept the blessings God is showering upon us.

The Lord is reminding us that with faith and trust in him, we can overcome challenges and achieve goals we never thought possible. Keep on praying - prayer is powerful. The Lord will give us strength. We can accomplish all that we set out to do through the strength Christ provides. 

As we pray, let us reflect on how God’s strength manifests in our lives and how He encourages us to take bold steps on our spiritual journeys. His support will enable us to overcome challenges, persevere through adversity, and achieve our goals, instilling in us the faith and confidence to pursue our path

The Lord is reminding us of the importance of community and support in our spiritual journey. Even when circumstances limit our ability to show the love in our hearts, we will always find a way to blossom in God’s perfect timing. Prayer has the incredible power to change our lives and bring us hope in difficult times. We can find great joy in the Lord when we recognize that, after some time, our concern for our well-being will be rekindled. 

As we pray, let us remember that the Lord has cared for us, even though circumstances may have kept Him from showing that care until now. His renewed presence in our lives means a great deal, and we should express our gratitude for this opportunity to reconnect and connect with one another, even in challenging times

And it reads: “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” 

The Lord is reminding us that in every aspect of our lives, we should bring our concerns and desires before him. We should approach life with a sense of mindfulness, we should let prayer be our refuge, and we should not be anxious about anything. 

In every situation, whether big or small, let us bring our requests to God through our heartfelt prayer and earnest supplication, accompanied by a spirit of gratitude. By doing so, we will let go of our worries and replace them with prayer; open ourselves up to peace that transcends our understanding through our relationship with Christ Jesus. This divine tranquility will guard our hearts and provide strength and reassurance through our faith.

Today, as we pray, let us engage in heartfelt prayer and supplication, trusting that God will hear us and will bless us with His divine peace

Our prayer today will be aligned with the scripture taken from Philippians 3:21, and it reads, “Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned unto his glorious body, according to the work that he is able to subdue all things unto himself.” 

The Lord is reminding us of his transformative power and the promise that, through Him, we can be renewed and made whole. God understands our struggles and will transform our wretched and imperfect bodies, so that we can be conformed to His glorious and radiant body. 

As we pray, let us open our hearts to possibilities and see the glorious purpose that God has for each of us. His transformation will occur in accordance with His supreme ability to bring all things into submission under His sovereign will.
