This morning, I would like you to consider with me a great truth that is so subtle it is rarely acknowledged directly, but it is implicit in everything that occurs as a result of faith in general. I’m referring to it simply as the “breakthrough to wholeness.” Actually, it is the key that Jesus taught, the key insight, but the Christian has been invariably so preoccupied with adoring he who taught that he has failed to grasp what he taught. He said, “I am come that you may have life and may have it abundantly.”
