In this week's Everyday Conversations Podcast, FBB speaker Colette Aikema and Executive Director Jojo Ruba, discuss the recent federal bill put forward to ban conversion therapy.  They recall when they first learned of the local and national attempt to ban what is known as ‘conversion therapy’, that they were glad. It would give the church an opportunity to support those who care for the LGBTQ community in the unique challenges they face. However, they also explain that it only took a few months to become clear that the bans were in fact political maneuvers designed to silence the message of Christian love in matters of sex and gender.
